After premiering to sold out shows at the 2025 Adelaide Fringe, Adelaide born and bred soprano Emma Kavanagh is bringing Broadway Off-Broadway back by popular demand for a return season bigger and better than ever with lots of new surprises. The 2026 season runs for three shows only at The Flamingo at Gluttony on 15, 21 and 22 March.
Tickets are selling fast on Fringe Tix and the season is set for another sell out.
This year Broadway Off-Broadway features two cast members from the current Australasian tour of Wicked: South Australian born and bred Madison Green and Jayden Prelc, who will be flying straight back to Adelaide to perform in the show after finishing their tour throughout Singapore and South Korea.
The day after the final performance of Broadway Off-Broadway’s 2025 premiere season, dancer Jayden Prelc hopped on a flight to join the cast of Wicked on tour…and now Emma says the stars have aligned for him to captivate audiences in the return season.
Last year an ensemble of emerging artists joined the cast for the finale, in celebration of “the remarkable talent that is nurtured in Adelaide’s youth theatre” (Glam Adelaide).
Director, Producer and Lead Vocalist Emma Kavanagh says she is passionate about supporting the next generation of artists:
“I am thrilled to be showcasing a group of talented emerging artists in the show again this year, including some of Adelaide’s even younger up and coming singers. We can’t wait to introduce them to you!”
Emma says Broadway Off-Broadway brings Broadway down under, featuring iconic musical theatre hits from Phantom of the Opera to Wicked:

It’s not often you have these talented performers in the same room (or on the same stage!), so you don’t want to miss this all-star lineup! After touring across Europe and Australia, and singing on internationally broadcast TV, Emma Kavanagh is home and she has gathered another line-up of other accomplished South Australian artists to join her onstage.
The cast includes Lead Vocalists Madison Green (Cats, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, current Australasian touring cast of Wicked), Josh Spiniello (Jesus Christ Superstar, Back to the Future) and Jason Bensen (Cosi Fan Tutte, Alcina). Completing the cast are dancers Maddie Apacible (Disneyland Paris, Norwegian Cruise Lines) and Jayden Prelc (current Australasian touring cast of Wicked).
