BIG Live, Australia’s boldest and fastest-growing ballet company, proudly announces its most daring production to date: Dracula. The full-length original ballet is set to premiere this September and October in five major cities: Brisbane, Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Auckland, and Canberra, with Christchurch just announced!
A gripping reimagining of the iconic vampire legend, Dracula sweeps audiences from the blood-soaked battlefields of 15th-century Europe to the eerie halls of a 19th-century castle. Combining breathtaking choreography with some of the world’s most powerful orchestral works, this production explores themes of love, loss, vengeance, and the eternal fight against fate.

Set to an electrifying score featuring Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, Liszt’s Liebestraum No. 3, Saint-Saëns’ Danse Macabre, and Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain, Dracula blends classical power with gothic grandeur in a way never before seen on the ballet stage.
