Queensland Symphony Orchestra presents Art of the Score: The Music of Hans Zimmer. Celebrating one of the unofficial Kings of Movie Scores, this unmissable concert will run at QPAC’s Concert Hall for three performances only from 23-24 May 2025.

Hans Zimmer has scored more than 500 projects across all mediums. Combined they have grossed more than $28 billion worldwide. Zimmer has received two Academy Awards, three Golden Globes, five Grammys, an American Music Award, and a Tony Award.
His work highlights include Dune: Part One, Top Gun: Maverick, No Time to Die, Gladiator, The Thin Red Line, As Good as It Gets, Rain Man, The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, Thelma and Louise, The Last Samurai, 12 Years A Slave, Blade Runner 2049 and Dunkirk. Also David Attenborough’s Prehistoric Planet, and Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two, the follow-up to his Academy Award-winning score for Dune: Part One.
The concert will be hosted by the creators of the popular podcast, Art of the Score, Andrew Pogson and Dan Golding. Conducted by Vanessa Scammell, your journey through these titans of technicolour will have you Zimming with enjoyment!
