Australasian Dance Collective (ADC) has announced an exciting 2026 Season featuring world premieres, an international tour, and the highly anticipated return of two beloved programs.
At the heart of the season, THREE is back for its fourth iteration, showing at Brisbane Powerhouse in July. The triple bill will feature two new commissions from celebrated Australian choreographers Amber McCartney and Joel Bray and brings Harrison Ritchie-Jones’ acclaimed duet CUDDLE to Queensland for the first time.
The platform, which premiered in 2021, has been described as a show which will remind you what it feels like to be human – to be alive. It has become a highlight of ADC’s biennial programming, celebrated for giving rise to distinct artistic voices.

Audiences can also anticipate an epic new site-specific work choreographed by Jack Lister and Amy Hollingsworth. After the success of Relic in March 2025, which saw the Collective take over the storied UAP Foundry, ADC will premiere a new immersive experience in early 2026.
Returning for one night only — as it did in its original season — Assembly Vol. 2 will once again deliver an electrifying fusion of music and dance in 2026. For its second volume, the program will bring together three live music acts and a dance work by Alisdair Macindoe, continuing ADC’s cultivation of interdisciplinary collaborations and imaginative partnerships.
The year will culminate in an exhilarating international tour, taking ADC’s acclaimed repertoire to audiences across the globe, and cementing the company’s reputation as one of Australia’s leading voices in contemporary dance.
With more to be announced, ADC’s 2026 season will continue to champion bold artistic voices and innovative co-creations, inviting audiences to experience contemporary dance in new and unexpected ways.
