Shine up your cowboy boots and grab your rhinestones! Here You Come Again, the dazzling musical comedy packed with Dolly Parton’s greatest hits, has confirmed its upcoming tours dates.
This joyous musical will be landing at the Regal Theatre Perth from 22 August, the Civic Theatre Newcastle from 20 November, Canberra Theatre Centre from 27 November and Her Majesty’s Theatre Adelaide from 6 December, for strictly limited seasons.
Due to popular demand, new shows have also been added in Sydney, week commencing 23 September, and Melbourne, week commencing 28 October.
Tickets go on pre-sale from 9am today, Monday 14 April.

Officially produced with the approval of Dolly Parton and featuring iconic songs like Jolene, 9 to 5, Islands in the Stream, and I Will Always Love You, this heart-warming and hilarious show will tour Australia following sold out seasons across the US and UK. The story follows a diehard fan whose fantasy version of Dolly helps him navigate life’s toughest moments, through the use of charm, wit and an unforgettable soundtrack.
Starring co-creator Tricia Paoluccio in the role of Dolly, the all-star cast also includes Dash Kruck (Little Shop of Horrors, Jesus Christ Superstar) and an all-Australian ensemble. A live band features Andrew Worboys (MD & Keys), Tina Harris (Bass), Luke Herbert (Drums) and Ash Murdica (Electric Guitar).

It’s been my dream to create a musical comedy that celebrates her music while imagining how she might help someone in a real-life way. Co-created by two-time Emmy Award-winning comedy writer and songwriter Bruce Vilanch, in collaboration with director Gabriel Barre and Tricia Paoluccio, Here You Come Again is a hilarious, feel-good musical you won’t want to miss.
The UK adaptation is penned by acclaimed British playwright Jonathan Harvey (Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Coronation Street). It has been adapted for the Australian stage by Fiona Harris and Mike McLeish Musical direction is by Andrew Worboys. Lighting design by Jason Bovaird.
Here You Come Again will arrive at Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre from 12 July and Theatre Royal Sydney from 12 September.

What about Brisbane?
What did I expect? Apart from sing along tracks from one of my very favourite human beings on this earth, Dolly Parton, really not much else. What I got however was a production that filled my heart with so much emotion, evoked such feelings I was left fighting back tears more than once. Each cast member felt as though they were performing for me personally. I laughed, I cried, I became incredibly invested with the main character, Kevin, played by Dash Kruck, who took us on such an authentic journey; and if I closed my eyes, I would have sworn it was Dolly herself up there speaking through her heart, as only Dolly does. But no, I opened my eyes to the extraordinarily talented Tricia Paoluccio with the voice of an angel (a Dolly angel of course). The story takes you on a journey, incredibly relatable, real, yet wrapped in magic. The story telling was fun, funny and very well adapted for Australian audiences, which added a special touch. Fiona Harris and her creative team should be applauded. While waiting at Stage Door I shared many conversations with other audience members who were equally moved by the production.
I have bought tickets to see it again in October. Congratulations to all involved in this production. It is a must see!
