Their previous reimaginings of artists like Nirvana and George Michael have captivated audiences and earned praise from critics. By blending classical orchestration with contemporary music, they are creating something entirely new.

Under the visionary artistic direction of Fiona Campbell, INXS Reimagined will elevate timeless rock anthems into sweeping orchestral epics.
“It’s where orchestra and rock collide in a symphonic reimagining. That’s where the real magic happens,” says Campbell.
From the electrifying intensity of Devil Inside to the heartfelt depths of Never Tear Us Apart, the setlist spans the band’s most iconic hits, each given new energy by three exceptional lead vocalists.
Abbe May’s sultry, soulful voice weaves raw emotion and captivating depth into every note, drawing on a celebrated career as an ARIA-nominated singer-songwriter and dynamic performer.
Sharing the spotlight is fellow powerhouse vocalist Justin Burford, whose electrifying stage presence and soulful versatility are undeniable. His seamless blend of gritty rock energy and melodic finesse perfectly complements Abbe May’s smoky tone.
Completing this exceptional trio is Vin Trikeriotis, whose remarkable journey from heavy metal frontman to operatic tenor adds dramatic intensity and vocal depth to the stage.
Supporting them are two skilled backing vocalists, alongside the stirring voices of the Perth Modern School Choir, whose harmonies add a lush, expansive dimension to this unforgettable symphonic rock celebration.
Ms Campbell says the emotional weight of the performance lies in the brilliance of Perth composer Ash Gibson Greig’s arrangements.
“Ash has created the most beautiful orchestrations. He’s integrated the choir and woven in these lush, delicate vocals. It all comes together in such a moving, powerful way with lots of high-octane moments.”

For vocalist Justin Burford, the magic of INXS Reimagined comes from the scale, familiarity, and emotional weight of the music.
“The material itself is iconic — it’s part of the Australian ether,” he says. “You’ve got this music we all know, performed by an army of musicians working towards the same mission. And then you’ve got some talented vocalists and soloists putting their own spin on it. It’s everything that makes up good theatre and great performance.”
Mr Burford has collaborated with Perth Symphony for a decade, helping to reinvent songs and elevate fan favourites to new heights. When invited to return for this upcoming concert, he knew it was an opportunity he couldn’t pass up.
“I’ve travelled the world and built my own career, but I always find my way back to Perth,” he says.

All six original band members, including brothers Andrew, Jon, and Tim Farriss, were born in Perth. Their global success put Australian rock on the map, but their roots have always remained here.

“People are going to recognise every tune — they’ll be able to sing along,” says Campbell. “We never stray from the bones of those iconic INXS songs because they’re just so good. But this show brings new layers. Soaring highs, intimate lows, playful choir moments, and a few surprises along the way. It all builds to a big, joyful finish that will transport people back to a place of pure nostalgia.”
