Perth Symphony Orchestra (PSO) has unveiled its 2025 Grand Finale; ELECTRIC SYMPHONY, presented by QV1. More than a concert, it’s a full-scale, multi-sensory celebration set to ignite Perth’s iconic QV1 Plaza on Saturday 29 November 2025.
From sunset to late, the architecturally striking plaza will transform into a pulsating playground of music, movement, and light creating a festival-style symphonic experience unlike anything Perth has seen before.
From orchestral power to acrobatic spectacle, deep beats to string-fuelled euphoria, this is an evening where sound, vision and performance collide. Curated by PSO Creative Director Fiona Campbell OAM, the night unfolds across three exhilarating acts. Each will have its own flavour and energy.
As the sun slips behind the skyline, Act I: Sparkling Symphony sees PSO’s 22-piece orchestra and guest soloists including Australian Idol’s Gisella Colletti, Matt Milford, Sara Duhig, Jordan Anthony, and Amy Ehlers, ignite the evening with retro anthems and sing-along favourites.
Act II: After Dark Spectacle unleashes a kaleidoscope of performances – sizzling strings from electric quartet INNEKA, powerhouse vocals from all-female ensemble GLAM, the magnetic presence of drag star Dean Misdale, and the cabaret enchantment of burlesque sensation Matt Pope.
The finale, Act III: Fred Again… with Strings Attached, brings it all to a euphoric crescendo. PSO’s soaring strings collide with DJ Shann, reimagining Fred Again’s most iconic tracks and transforming the plaza into one dazzling dance floor.
Beyond the main stage, audiences can expect roving performers, ambient pop-ups, and activations around every corner. Spritz bars, cocktails, craft beer, wine, and diverse food offerings will fuel the night’s electric energy.
