Entering the Spiegel Haus, the new entertainment precinct at the Golden Square carpark, the vibe is an electrically charged sensual pleasure once seated in a low-lit, smoky scene of seduction.
There are hints of burlesque and cheeky hype, and as the champagne bottle sitting in ice on stage has not yet been popped, you prepare yourself for one exciting blast! There’s a definite desire in the air, and it’s filled with an expectation of delightful enjoyment.
So as the show opens, it’s in, above and around you, and your every whim and pleasure is to be answered. You can truly feel the excitement and yes, everyone is very giggly with hosts Felix Pouliot and Emile Mathieu captivating with all the fun that will happen in your face!
There’s not a moment in this orgasmic 115 minutes where you don’t smile. You will wow with awe and laugh till you cry, as your cheek muscles get the greatest of workouts. There are moments where you will not believe what you have seen, as you clap along in huge applause and celebrations that echo into an unforgettable evening.
In a night full of mystery, you are presented with alluring songs, mind-blowing tricks, incredibly entertaining audience involvement, and you are constantly waiting for what is to come next.
The lighting throughout the event strikes like the clanging of cymbals in perfect timing with what takes place. The emotive music lifts your spirits, dances with your feelings, twirls with the artists and excites you.
There’s flying grapes, shocking contortion, feathers and bubbles, pillow throwing and addictive champagne. Legs, arms, and faces are all twisted and swung in high flight, with confetti sprays, water shooting and sexy silhouettes.
The dance numbers are on heat, with mime and character-playing embodied with a full spirit. You look into the depths of the moment, as well as having eyes all over the place. It’s all part of the party taking place in the tent.
As the crowd experiences delight after delight, it is as if all under the roof becomes one entity, joining in the fun. There are so many parts of this show that you will lie awake dreaming about, thinking about, smiling and remembering. It’s a whirlwind that you cannot miss.
Amongst the troupe, the songstress Clara Fable produces alluring vocals that are hypnotic. You follow her wherever she glides, both in body and in song.
The two hosts, Emile Mathieu and Felix Pouliot, are intoxicating with charm, despite the crude humour. At the end of the performance, they leave you feeling like you’ve licked all the whipped cream off the beaters. Naughty but so very nice! And wow, can Pouliot entertain on the pole, just as Mathieu has the best microphone beats in history!
As we hit the moonrise, Danielle Summers floats into the ceiling, flipping, flying, spinning a web of wonder. She’s glorious and she stuns the crowd into revered admiration. Flynn Miller provides us with muscle, mesmerising moves and lots of cheek! It’s hot and hits you like a treat at Gold Class.
Melanie Hawkins brings a fantasy shimmer in her dancing and a draw stronger than wanting to lick your fingers whilst eating freshly baked chocolate chip cookies that melt in your mouth. She’s all style and brings decadence and luxury like silk sheets.
To complete the set in this Russian Roulette of a production, Mykhailo Makarovoak twists, bends, and contorts with clever and uncomfortable distortion that is too addictive to look away from. If ever there was an eighth wonder of the world, he would be it!
Once the show is over and you waltz yourself out, you will think you’ve journeyed out of a land of ornate delicacies, and the buzz in your brain fizzes like a stunningly shiny sherbet. You want to go back, you want to see it from a different angle, you want to be a part of the pillow fight again.
Whilst this is a once-in-a-lifetime performance that will never be replicated, it’s an addiction that you will want more of. Don’t miss Blanc de Blanc Encore. It’s delicious!
