In the tense 72 hours before D-Day, and with the fate of the free world hanging in the balance, PRESSURE follows General Dwight D. Eisenhower and Captain James Stagg as they face an impossible choice—launch the largest and most dangerous seaborne invasion in history or risk losing the war altogether.
From acclaimed Australian director Anthony Maras (Hotel Mumbai), comes the incredible true story, PRESSURE, a nail-biting war-thriller that follows the tense 72 hours in the lead up to D-Day.
General Dwight D. Eisenhower (Academy Award winner Brendan Fraser) employs chief meteorologist Captain James Stagg (BAFTA winner Andrew Scott) to advise him on when to launch the largest seaborne invasion in history. With the fate of the free world hanging in the balance, Captain Stagg must cut through military egos, crushing uncertainty and terrifyingly high stakes to make an impossible call.
Featuring an all-star supporting cast, including Academy Award nominee Kerry Condon and Golden Globe winner Damian Lewis, PRESSURE is a tense historical thriller about weather, warfare and the burden of responsibility, turning a pivotal moment in modern history into gripping, muscular cinema.
