CatVideoFest returns to Australian cinemas this August, with the funniest, most heartwarming and unforgettable cat videos from around the world for a one-of-a-kind big-screen celebration of our feline friends.
CatVideoFest is a joyous, communal cinema experience featuring the latest and greatest cat videos – from hilarious home footage and animations, viral sensations and unexpected feline stars. It’s purr-fect for cat lovers of all ages.
With a new film released into to cinemas each year, CatVideoFest is the brainchild of filmmaker Will Braden and US indie distributor Oscilloscope Laboratories.
But CatVideoFest is more than just a celebration of cats. Since its North American launch in 2019, it has become a beloved, annual, worldwide event, raising more than $1Million USD in contributions for cats in need through partnerships with animal welfare organisations, charities, and shelters around the world, whilst also helping support adoptions, fostering, volunteer sign-ups and community engagement.
Exclusively available in cinemas (it won’t be heading to digital platforms), CatVideoFest gives audiences the chance to laugh, cheer and collectively celebrate the cats who bring so much joy into our lives, while helping make a difference for cats in need.
